Recently built as part of a luxury two-chalet development including Chalet Binna which is next door, Chalet Banja sets new standards in Alpine luxury. Situated in the desirable Winkelmatten area of the resort, it is a 5 minute walk to the Matterhorn Express gondola and it is possible to ski back to within 100m of the door (or less!) for much of the winter. Also, the bus stop is close by.
The chalet has fantastic views of the Matterhorn and associated peaks and provides for a level of comfort, design and convenience seldom seen in private ski accommodation. Further more, the impressive in-house “wellness” facilities rival those found in many of Zermatt’s hotels and include a private swimming pool and gym.
