The season is already underway in Zermatt, thanks to good early snowfall and great skiing 365 days a year on the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise.
Here’s some useful Zermatt lift pass information for your trip:
Early Booking Discount
It’s worth booking early if you can. If you buy your ski pass before 24 November 2017 you qualify for a 15% discount on the price of a 7-8 day Zermatt or International Ski Pass.
You can book online now by taking this link.
Improved Automated Ticket Machines
Zermatt have also made it easier for you to collect your lift pass when you arrive. From December a total of twelve new automated ticket machines will be available to you.
There will be four machines in Täsch, six at Zermatt station and one each at the valley stations at Sunnegga and Schlumatte. The range of tickets that you can buy from the machines will include single tickets to the various peaks as well as ski passes.
Lift passes that have been ordered online can also be collected from the machines if you have a pre-programmed Skidata card, avoiding the need to go to a sales point.
Another innovation is the ‘pay-as-you-go’ Easy SkiCard. Simply load up your card with points, and you’re good to go. Points are deducted from your Easy SkiCard account each time you use a lift. There’s also a bonus in that the more points you load the bigger the discount.
