Buy your own Zermatt ski-specific mask!

Zermatt have released their designs for ski specific masks for this winter.

There are different masks designed to work with ski helmets or for skiing with a regular hat.

Masks suitable for ski helmets

What we like about the masks is that they also have a specific design for helmet-wearers.

Available from mid-December

You can order your Zermatt mask online now with delivery dates from mid-December 2020

Machine-washable and tested

The Zermatt community masks can be machine-washed repeatedly at up to 60°C or sanitized in boiling water.

They masks have been tested by the certam institute and meet AFNOR SPEC S76-001 requirements (specifications of the French task force).

They do note on their website that the ALLKOV winter mask is “not a medical product nor an item of PPE”. However, when worn correctly, community masks protect others from infection, but they should be worn in conjunction with following all hygiene and social distancing guidelines.

Choose your design

Both the goggle mask and ‘regular’ mask come in a choice of prints. For the goggle mask you can choose blue, black or a stylised line design.

For the regular mask prints of the 3S Cableway, Stellisee or Blauherd cable car.

When does Zermatt open?

The Zermatt Matterhorn Glacier Paradise ski area is already open, with the larger area due to open on 04 December.

Zermatt has an excellent early season snow record.
