The modern and spacious Matterhorn Test Centre will open its doors next month, offering skiers and snowboarders the chance to test the latest ski and snowboard brands in a truly unique setting.

Already blessed with views of the Matterhorn, the new test centre offers an incomparable ski-in and ski-out experience.

Find the Test Centre at Trockener Steg

The new Matterhorn Test Centre is located at Trockener Steg, and will mean that visitors to Zermatt will be able to trial all the latest ski models for the coming season from various manufacturers.

This high-quality building has been constructed to the highest standards and offers comfort and the chance to ski-in and ski-out with a new pair of skis.

This is another example of the continuing work by Zermatt Bergbahnen – the company that manages the lifts and pistes – to offer the best possible service to holidaymakers visiting Switzerland’s most famous ski resort.

The resort expects the Matterhorn Test Centre to be exceptionally popular, particularly due to the lack of ski tests in other early-opening ski resorts such as Sölden and Saas Fee.
