Chinese New Year (CNY) Ski Holidays | Luxury Chalets in Zermatt

Chinese New Year (CNY) is the perfect time to enjoy a ski holiday in the world class ski resort of Zermatt.

Why not celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Tiger in Switzerland’s best and most famous ski resort, in the shadow of one of the most famous mountains in the world.

If you are planning a ski holiday for Chinese New Year, then we can help arrange luxury accommodation in one of our catered chalets or serviced apartments.

Book for a week or a long weekend

We offer serviced chalets for groups of 6 to 12 people, that can be rented either catered or non-catered.

We can help you book ski passes, ski hire, ski school and restaurants during the week through our Concierge Service, leaving you simply to enjoy your Chinese New Year ski trip.

Spend February 2022 in Zermatt

It will be time to say goodbye to the Year of the Ox on Monday 31 January 2022. So, if you’d like to take a full week’s holiday, you could start from Saturday 29 or Sunday 30 January 2022.

Alternatively, shorter breaks are possible, just contact us for details.

Enjoy ‘Faschnacht’ in Zermatt

It’s an even better time to enjoy your skiing in Zermatt, as in 2022 CNY will be followed shortly by ‘Carnival’, also known in Switzerland as ‘Faschnacht’.

There will be extra parties arranged in resort and lots of people dressing up in fancy dress and having fun.

‘Brave, Competitive and Confident’

This will be the first Year of the Ox since 2010. Anyone born under this animal is said to be brave, competitive, unpredictable, and confident.

Don’t leave it to the last minute

February is always a busier month than January, so don’t leave it to the last minute to book your Chinese New Year ski trip.
