Zermatt’s Matterhorn Ski Paradise has been recognised as 2022 winner in the “Five-Star Ski Resort” category by Skiresort.de, the leading German ski website.

The awards have been running since 1998. Visitors to the website cast their votes in different categories.

The Skiresort.de team comprehensively tested Zermatt across 18 different evaluation criteria.

These included the size of the ski area; the range of slopes; the lifts and cable cars; snow reliability; and slope preparation.

The Matterhorn Ski Paradise ski area was awarded an outstanding rating of 4.5 out of 5 possible stars.
