How do you make sure that your vacation rental in Zermatt is the best you can get?

If you’re looking for an apartment or alpine villa, we can offer expert, local advice to help find the right property for you and your party.
Zermatt locals…who speak your language!
Ed and Suzanne are British ex-pats, who have lived in the Alps for 30 years and in Zermatt for the last 15 years.
They are true Zermatt locals, with the contacts to book the busiest restaurants, find the best ski instructors and to show you the best places to have lunch on the mountain whether it’s perfect sunny or snowing heavily.
Concierge Service
All guests of Matterhorn Chalets can take advantage of Ed and Suzanne’s knowledge via their concierge service.
As well as booking your vacation rental in Zermatt, we can book transfers, lift tickets and ski hire – plus that all important massage after your day on the mountain.
Apartments in Zermatt
Depending on the size of your group and your budget, we can recommend a vacation rental from a wide selection of superb apartments in Zermatt.
Our smallest apartments sleep up to 4 guests (Argos, Aroleid, Mittelritz, Tuftern, Weisse Perle) and the largest can sleep up to 10 people (Turquino).
These apartments are usually offered on a self-catering basis but can also be offered fully serviced if required.
Chalets and Alpine Cabins
Alternatively, you might want to book your own entire property.
A chalet is a typical Swiss home, usually built in a traditional style from wood with slate roofs. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the full Alpine experience on your trip of a lifetime.
Our chalets sleep from 6 to 12 guests and, like our apartments, can be booked self-catering or fully-serviced, with delicious meals cooked by your own private chef.
Chalets are typically more spacious than apartments, and some include their own private spa, swimming pool and fitness rooms.
Saturday to Saturday Rentals
Bear in mind when planning your trip that most European vacation rentals run from one weekend to the next. That usually means from Saturday to Saturday, or from Sunday to Sunday.
Shorter rentals can be possible, especially on lower season dates (January or March). Ed and Suzanne will help guide you through the process of planning your visit.
Book early for peak dates
All of our properties book very early for dates such as Christmas, New Year and Carnival (mid-February), so whichever vacation rental option in Zermatt you go for, please don’t leave it too long to book.
Whichever date you are looking for, please contact Ed or Suzanne via our website or call us on +41 79 247 15 88 to check the latest availability.
