The biennial survey from Mountain Management Consulting in collaboration with the University of Innsbruck has seen Zermatt voted ‘Best Ski Resort’ again.

Highest level of satisfaction
A total of almost 50,000 skiers and snowboarders were interviewed on the slopes of 54 European ski resorts. Questions included guests’ satisfaction with the slopes, apres-ski, landscape and atmosphere.
Zermatt took first place, ahead of Livigno in Italy and Serfaus in Austria.
Best on several counts
The key factors that led to Zermatt’s win were the size of the ski area, the reliability of the snow, the great apres-ski and quality of accommodation.

Quality Accommodation
The survey also rated Zermatt 2nd for the quality of accommodation in resort. They obviously didn’t look at the properties that we offer – whether catered chalets, hotels or self-catering apartments – all of our accommodation is top class luxury.
