Enjoy the ‘Rooftop Ride’

Most of the base station including ticket offices, ski lockers and toilets was completed in January 2024, but this summer visitors will be able to enjoy the new ‘Rooftop Ride’ for the first time.

Instead of travelling inside, you’ll be able to enjoy superb views of our magnificent Matterhorn mountain from the balcony, located in the open air on the roof of the cabin.

The modern cabins on the Zermatt-Furi lift pass through a specially-designed and unique pylon, which presents the Matterhorn as if through a magnifying glass.
