The Korean ‘K-pop’ phenomenon BTS have sold millions of records around the world, but thanks to band-member Jung Kook, Zermatt could be the next destination for their fans to flock to.
The 27-year-old is one of the founding members of BTS – the best-selling music act in South Korean history with over 40 million album sales.
Jung Kook seen with ‘Wolli’ keyring
Jung Kook was recently photographed sporting a ‘Wolli’ keyring at Incheon airport.
As all lovers of Zermatt will know, Wolli is the resort’s mascot for children – a cute black-faced sheep after whom the beginners’ area, the Wolli Park, is named.
It’s believed that Jung Kook may have bought the keyring on a trip to Switzerland for the filming of the travel series ‘Are You Sure?’ by Disney.

Will the BTS tour go to Switzerland?
Jung Kook has recently been discharged from the South Korean army following his national service.
He was believed to be planning a solo tour and other solo projects. However, earlier this week, BTS announced a comeback tour for spring 2026.
