The apartment’s entrance is on the second floor of the building (no lift) and on this level are the south facing living area, which has a fireplace, and the open plan kitchen-dining room, all of which has access to a sunny balcony/terrace with a view of the Matterhorn.

The apartment recently underwent extensive modernisation to include additional bathrooms and redecoration throughout. In its modernised form, therefore, the lower level of the duplex includes a large twin/double bedroom with a balcony with ensuite shower and lavabo as well as a quad bunk room.
